Ben + Megan
The small country town of York has such a unique and relaxed vibe, that you can’t help but feel much further from the city. This was the perfect choice of location for Ben and Megan, when they decided to get married in the spring of 2012 . Laurelville Manor is a charming country style house where Ben and Megan could be with their family and friends as they prepared for the day. The ceremony and reception were held on the lawns just meters from the home, and the decoration and attention to detail was absolutely incredible. It was such a beautiful day, and a pleasure to be involved in Ben & Megan’s wedding. Andrew and Seslia approached us early last year and we were immediately excited be involved in their wedding. It was to be held at Caversham House, on the upper lawns, and the reception also at Caversham in the Marquee. A first for us was doing what we call a ‘location shoot’ before the wedding. This is the time that we spend with our couples letting them connect at various locations, while we film and take photos. Andrew and Seslia decided to have a ‘First Meet’ after the preparations in the morning, and we then spent the following few hours doing the location shoot before the wedding. We found this structure really helped Andrew & Sesilia relax, and meant they could head straight into the reception after the ceremony. The sunset shoot was absolutely magical, and some of our favourite shots were taken during this time. The reception was one awesome party as the guests got right into the spirit of things with a massive dance floor, and a fully choreographed dance routine performed by the bridal party. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Shane + Eboney
Our first wedding this spring brought us to the beautiful island of Bali. The team flew over a few days before the wedding which gave us some time to travel and film some wonderful locations before the big day. Some of our favourite shots were filmed in Uluwatu, Mount Agung and Lovina. Being part of Shane & Eboney’s wedding was truly amazing. It was clear that what they were most excited about was giving their friends & family a beautiful adventure in Bali as a way of celebrating the start of their marriage. It was such a privilege to see these two share such an honest love & friendship as they promised to stick with each other for life. Their awesome sense of fun made for some hilarious shoe-related games & a killer dance floor (despite the heat) and it was obvious how ecstatic they were to finally become Mr & Mrs!
