Nam & Kim Tranh | Perth | 26 September 2015
From the moment I sat down for coffee with Nam & Kim, I knew their wedding day was going to be something special. It wasn’t the thousands of white roses, or the incredible decoration that went into their day, but simply the incredible connection these two have. Their excitement and enthusiasm for life is really unbelievable, and it’s people like them who inspire me to make the most out of every day I am given. I wish them both the best for what I am sure will be an incredible future together.

Luke & Roslyn | Willis Point | Vancouver Island | Canada | 1 August 2015
Mahalia (my partner) and I are thrilled every time we get to go to Canada. It really gives us something to look forward to as the cold winter months in Perth approach. We usually make a good holiday of it, and this year was no different. We flew to Vancouver Island, picked up a hire car, and spent a few weeks going to all the places we didn’t get to see the year before. If I can recommend one place to visit on the island, you must go to Tofino. It is truly unbelievable, and has some of the most incredible hikes you will ever do. With vast amounts of forest, ocean, and spectacular sunsets, you can hold me personally responsible if you don’t enjoy visiting this incredible part of the world.
On to the wedding stuff. Luke and Roslyn were married at Roslyn’s family home just out of Victoria, in an area called Willis Point. This home was nothing short of amazing, being perched on a cliff with ocean views most of us only dream of. All their guests were brought over by boat, and then taken to Brentwood Bay for the reception afterwards. The wedding planning was all done by Barb Walker from French Kiss, and she really created something so stunning. Take a look and see for yourself.
Blake & Cindy | Denmark | Western Australia | 7 February 2015
Blake & Cindy were married on their family owned property ‘William Bay Cottages’ in Denmark, Western Australia. Nestled amongst the trees, they presented each other with the most heartfelt vows I have heard in a long time. It was such a beautiful experience being apart of their day.
Alex & Analise | Bunbury | Western Australia | 13 September 2014
Alex & Analise were married in the most gorgeous chapel in Dardanup near Bunbury. Alex’s farm was the perfect place for the guys to suit up with cows and kangaroos watching from all directions. Analise got ready at the Bunbury Silo’s where there was an amazing view of the ocean, and the surrounding area. It was a memorable moment as the two of them said their vows and had their first kiss as husband and wife. They then partied the night away with their friend and family at the Lighthouse Beach Resort. I love getting down south to film weddings and Alex & Analise’s was no different. I wish them all the best in their new marriage.
Phil & Lisa | Vancouver Island | Canada | 25 July 2014
We recently spent a a week on Vancouver Island where we got to film Phil & Lisa’s wedding. We had such a blast hanging with these two as they got married on the beach at Cordova Bay. With a peaceful ocean and gentle breeze, these two couldn’t wipe the smiles from their faces as they committed to each other for life. The wedding was a huge success with great thanks to Barb at French Kiss Events. She was the most relaxed event planner I have ever come by, and wanted to help make our day easier at every opportunity. It was also a huge pleasure to meet Jon-Mark who is widely known as one of the best photographers on Vancouver Island, and is just as much a nice guy as he is a great photographer. We had the best time being videographers for this lovely couple, and hope to return to the island for more weddings some time in the near future.
Jason & Julia | Banff | Canada | 11th July 2014
We have just experienced our second summer for 2014 as we have been traveling in Canada. We have been all over BC & Alberta seeing the sights and doing what we love (filming weddings). We were so excited to be contacted by Jason & Julia earlier this year when they heard we were going to be in Canada for their wedding. This lovely couple who actually live in New Zealand, were married amongst the mountains of the beautiful town known as Banff. We spent our days before the wedding filming from mountain tops, rivers and many other great locations, capturing all sorts of wildlife and stunning views.
It was magical seeing Jason & Julia’s families come together and watch the two of them express their love for each other under the eye of Tunnel Mountain. The reception was held at Mt Norquay, and celebrations went late into the night as everyone enjoyed themselves, and the newly wed couple Jason & Julia.
The first two songs are by a good friend of mine Ben Blondel (AKA Death and a Cure). Find his music below.

Steve & Tegan’s Same Day Edit
In March this year Stephen & Tegan surprised their friends by secretly getting married in a gorgeous chapel just out of Perth . Only their family attended the wedding ceremony, which was kept a secret from their friends. This film was made on the day and played back at their so titled ‘engagement party’ later that night.
They approached me earlier in the year to discuss how we might make a same day edit video that could be used to surprise their friends at their engagement party held at the State Theater. I gathered my best team of videographers to help me film the day, and spent many hours in the back of my car editing. It was a great moment to see the video play back, and their friends cheer as they watched Tegan walked down the aisle.
Ben & Bree
This lovely couple had the most gorgeous wedding at their good friends home in South Perth. It was a delight to hear Ben & Bree exchange their vows, and celebrate with their family and close friends. It was an incredible experience to be immersed in the great friendship that exists between both their families, and of course Ben & Bree themselves.
Ray & Simone
Ray & Simone are completely and unmistakably in love. It was truly beautiful to watch as they made promises and exchanged rings at Perth’s beautiful St Georges Cathedral in Perth. We were so happy Ray & Simone chose us to be their videographers and we thoroughly enjoyed being apart of their wedding. There were so many special moments throughout the day, and the celebrations continued at Perth’s City West Receptions. The night was spent with good food and wine, laughter, an energetic dance floor and a special dragon dancing performance. Thanks for allowing us to create your wedding film Ray & Simone. We wish you all the best for your future together.
Damon & Rachel
The wedding ceremony was held at their home church C3 Crawley in Perth. Having seen the church on previous occasions it was unrecognizable in the most incredible way. The decoration and lighting worked perfectly to create a brilliant atmosphere for Damon & Rachel to declare their commitment to each other. In these commitments were some of the most honest and heartfelt words i have ever heard during a wedding ceremony. They truly declared the entirety of their love and everything in their hearts, in front of family and close friends.
Damon & Rachel entertained their guests at the Hyatt Perth with a jazz trio, dancing, a song performance from Damon, and of course fine food and wine. It is always a beautiful thing to see two people who are so obviously and crazily in love with each other. On their wedding day it was as if nothing around them could change or affect what they were experiencing, and the only thing that mattered was that they were there, in that moment together.
Ben + Megan
The small country town of York has such a unique and relaxed vibe, that you can’t help but feel much further from the city. This was the perfect choice of location for Ben and Megan, when they decided to get married in the spring of 2012 .
Laurelville Manor is a charming country style house where Ben and Megan could be with their family and friends as they prepared for the day. The ceremony and reception were held on the lawns just meters from the home, and the decoration and attention to detail was absolutely incredible. It was such a beautiful day, and a pleasure to be involved in Ben & Megan’s wedding.
Andrew + Sesilia
Andrew and Seslia approached us early last year and we were immediately excited be involved in their wedding. It was to be held at Caversham House, on the upper lawns, and the reception also at Caversham in the Marquee.
A first for us was doing what we call a ‘location shoot’ before the wedding. This is the time that we spend with our couples letting them connect at various locations, while we film and take photos. Andrew and Seslia decided to have a ‘First Meet’ after the preparations in the morning, and we then spent the following few hours doing the location shoot before the wedding. We found this structure really helped Andrew & Sesilia relax, and meant they could head straight into the reception after the ceremony.
The sunset shoot was absolutely magical, and some of our favourite shots were taken during this time. The reception was one awesome party as the guests got right into the spirit of things with a massive dance floor, and a fully choreographed dance routine performed by the bridal party.
Shane + Eboney
Our first wedding this spring brought us to the beautiful island of Bali. The team flew over a few days before the wedding which gave us some time to travel and film some wonderful locations before the big day. Some of our favourite shots were filmed in Uluwatu, Mount Agung and Lovina.
Being part of Shane & Eboney’s wedding was truly amazing. It was clear that what they were most excited about was giving their friends & family a beautiful adventure in Bali as a way of celebrating the start of their marriage. It was such a privilege to see these two share such an honest love & friendship as they promised to stick with each other for life. Their awesome sense of fun made for some hilarious shoe-related games & a killer dance floor (despite the heat) and it was obvious how ecstatic they were to finally become Mr & Mrs!
Thanks for letting us capture your special moment in time Shane & Eboney!
